Description

The Milltek 80mm Road+ Cat-Back Exhaust is a direct-fit performance system engineered for the Volkswagen MK8 Golf GTI (2022+). This particulate filter-back design replaces the factory silencer with a non-resonated rear section, delivering a sportier exhaust character without the drone of a fully unsilenced system. Constructed from T304L stainless steel with an 80mm (3.15") mandrel-bent pipe, the Road+ balances acoustic refinement with performance flow. Uses OEM hangers and requires no modifications. Includes Milltek Race Spec rear silencer for weight reduction and Maxton quad outlet diffuser in Cerakote Black finish. Fitment & Compatibility • Volkswagen Golf GTI MK8 (2022+) with factory particulate filter • Direct factory fitment-no cutting, welding, or bracket modifications required • Uses OEM mounting points and rubber isolators • Recommended as a stepping stone before upgrading to turbo-back with Large Bore Downpipe and Hi-Flow Sports Cat Material & Construction Hand-finished T304L stainless steel throughout. Mandrel-bent tubing ensures consistent diameter and flow. Cerakote Black tips withstand thermal cycling and maintain finish integrity.
