Stage 1 F-150 Build Under $1,500
The F-150 is a great platform that leaves a lot on the table stock. Here's a Stage 1 build that transforms the driving experience without breaking the bank.
The Parts List
1. Cold Air Intake — $250–350
Best bang-for-buck on the 5.0L or EcoBoost. Adds 8–12 hp and improves throttle response.

Borla ATAK or Flowmaster American Thunder give the F-150 the sound it deserves. +10–15 hp on the 5.0L.
3. Performance Brake Pads — $80–120
Hawk HPS pads are a direct swap that improves stopping distance and pedal feel dramatically.
